North Cascades National Park

Another day trip - this time to North Cascades National Park. I was struck today what a difference the sun and light make to scenery. I've been across the North Cascades Highway before and was totally knocked out by how beautiful the area is. Today it was still beautiful but not nearly as spectacular as when the sun is shining and it's very clear. I probably noticed it more because of the contrast with our trip last week to Mount Rainier. Both parks have stunning scenery but the light during our visit to Mount Rainier made every view look like it was a pop up 3D projection.

Here's Tristan doing his obligatory pose but he really wants to run wild in the forest. He did get a chance to cut loose plus we got a bit of practice in. He's learned to platz while I continue walking which is a bit we need for his BH. Tomorrow we will try to put all the pieces together and do the whole routine start to finish
