Absolute bliss
I've been absolutely blissful since Memorial Day weekend. On Memorial Day, sitting on my back deck, a feeling of total serenity and happiness engulfed me. It's been that way the entire summer. I'm normally a pretty cheerful person but this summer of glorious weather has made me postively eurphoric all the time. I'm so blissed out I haven't managed any posts but I'll try to get back in gear.
Thank goodness for the great spirits as I've been swamped with a new summer project. Tristan and I do manage a romp on the lake almost every evening. Training days have taken a backseat to the increased workload and I can see its effect on the big boy. He gets a little pushy, or more accurately pull-y, when his Schutzhund obedience training slacks off. We get to the lake and he's so anxious to reach the water that he can be a real handful. I make him sit and walk nicely but occasionally he tries to pull me along faster. Bad dog but still my great guy.
